“Excellent from start to finish. I needed wheelchair assistance and I was helped by Niamh who was bright upbeat, cheerful and extremely helpful. The assistance lounge was commanded by a charming gentleman from Latvia. Check in with Qatar airlines was also excellent. It was the last desk with a small check-in assistant that’s the only way I can describe her called Melina She was very helpful very kind very efficient but I’m sorry I can’t remember her name .(she’s just returned my passport cover which had €200 in it and she followed me to the gate to give me the cover which as I say contained the €200 absolutely amazing , gosh the honesty and everything elss It Was the best security I’ve ever been through in my life very helpful very pleasant no stress. I think the name was Rob . Even after a bottle of perfume was found which I had left in my bag by mistake,I was Spoken to as an adult which makes a change for airport security who usually make you feel guilty and seem to o take great delight in being as slow as possible. So I’ll be flying through Edinburgh again. Great start to my trip to India. Thank you.”

“Travelling with our autistic daughter, security staff were exceptionally accommodating, providing a stress free and easy experience. This is often not the case at airports however this was the best airport experience we’ve ever had travelling with our daughter.”

“I needed passenger assistance at short notice, for my flight home. The Helper at the entrance was clearly visible in a neon vest and actually available to help! Unlike at some other airports when you can look around for a while before finding someone. He gave me the physical assistance I needed and didn't make me explain myself, & listened empathetically to my needs. He passed me onto the next member of the team, who all promptly, kindly took me to check in, where a Ryanair staff member, even though I hadnt booked assistance 48hrs ahead as they request, didnt question it or give me any funny look, organised for my assistance at my arrival in Dublin airport as well as for my departure from Edinburgh. The next team member, Lynn helpfully prompted me at security, let me know what we would be doing next at every step, & shared how much she enjoyed her job. I didnt feel like a burden to her, or any of the team. Sharon brought me in the lift up to the plane, lovely caring funny people.”

“Security you were amazing today a MASSIVE shout out to Hannah and Lisa and their lovely boss for helping me out - they went out of their way to return an item (Hannah did the leg work so thanks!) Because I forgot to return it before passing through security by which time it was too late! I’m not saying what it was or they’ll be inundated with similar requests and they’re busy enough as is :) But honestly, if you know them - go tell them pls that they are fab! Thank you!! Sallie :)))”

“My husband and I flew on a Loganair flight on 27th March to Southampton and were so impressed by the help we received at the airport. Having asked for assistance for me as I struggle to walk long distances we were treat like royalty being helped all the way until we boarded the plane. We were first on and asked to remain in our seats until everyone had got off at Southampton, so the stewardess could help me get off. Loganair had messaged to Southampton to say I needed assistance and a lady was waiting at the bottom of the steps to push me all the way to the airport car park. Thank you Edinburgh Airport for all of your assistance. Mrs Alison Venning.”

“my wife and I both 87 could not have better or I should say excellent service at The airport ,we both put in a wheelchair and escorted to passport control where we were taken straight out passed a queue of must have been 200 people and went to baggage reclaim where the assistant loaded our luggage onto a trolley and then proceeded to take us to a awaiting taxi ,I cannot compliment the service I received too highly keep it up Edinburgh you done great.”

“Mobility service was amazing for my friend. From the start at the reception to the following a big thanks to James, Claire, Becky at Edinburgh and Julie for Stansted Airport. What a wonderful hardworking team date 14th October 2023 I cannot fault this service and the attitude towards us was so rewarding and reassuring to informing each stage of the process. Very stressfree”

“Hi, I have travelled through Edinburgh airport four times in the last six months. I would like to say the staff are lovely. Very friendly and helpful in a casual but very effective manner. Make you feel it was a good decision to travel through their airport. I will be using it whenever possible and recommending it to friends. Thank you Edinburgh staff”

“Hi my flight was 18/08/22. The ground staff in Edinburgh airport are just fantastic. The staff at the baggage drop yesterday morning were so kind and helpful in a genuine and non patronizing way. Twas the same at the boarding gates. Such pleasant staff getting on with their jobs in an efficient and helpful, pleasant manner. Overall the atmosphere in the airport was that of a busy well functioning machine, everyone getting on with the task in hand whilst being very aware of travellers needs. Looking forward to my next journey through Edinburgh .”

“Just back from Santorini with Jet 2 between Landing, going through passport control, and picking up our 2 cases 20 minutes. Parked in multi-storey so short walk then home in fife within an hour of landing. Well done Edinburgh airport and Jet2. Too many bad reports so thought I would give praise where due. Experience on the way out to Santorini also great Jet 2 check in quick, efficient and friendly. Security no problem and very quick. Wetherspoons food not so good but you can't have everything! 😊”

“""As someone with mobility problems I was assisted greatly and respectfully by all, my car was in car park and on return the young gentleman who assisted me by taking me right to my car, packed my suitcases in boot and made sure I was safely inside car service second to none, thank you”

“Our visit to Edinburgh was amazing from start to finish. Although we got caught up in the British airways computer system crash, which meant that our flight to Edinburgh was cancelled and had to make the trip by rail. Our return trip was by air and the service we received by airport staff was wonderful, and the amenities were clean. What more can I ask for. Very happy”

“Very friendly and easy to access car park, the cost was also acceptable and we had no hassle exiting car park and in less than 5 minutes were safely on the road home. This makes our vacation end happily as at the end of a holiday the less stress the better.”
