“Having flown from Edinburgh 3 times in the last year nothing has changed. The pen for immigration is a shambles the baggage hall sorry shed is so slow in reuniting luggage with passengers and then the taxi stance well why can it not be like every other airport and you walk outside and taxis and private hire vehicles are waiting on you. Why make everyone walk along a hoarding then back along the other side and round a barrier??? Interesting to hear you replies ???”

“When one arrives off certain flights you are immediately confronted with a series of steps to climb. This ok for most but those of us who are not so able and strong find it difficult. Surely with all the money you spend your planning department can install escalators where requiured.”

“I had been told to give myself plenty of time as checking in took so long that some people had been known to miss their flights. So I got to the airport at 6am, three hours before my flight - and was through all the checks within 20 minutes - with friendly staff putting me right... so different from the London airports! So I had plenty of time to have a beautifully cooked breakfast of haggis and poached eggs while looking out to see the new Forth Road Bridge visible over the trees. Best experience of an airport ever. So pleased I've come to live in Edinburgh!”

“Generally not well kept - there was garbage everywhere including the floors and on seats. Also, biggest issue was lack of plug-ins for charging various devices. Pretty much a necessity these days.”

“Krispy Kreme doughnuts were the highlight! However flight was delayed as a previous passenger from the plane we were due to board had to wait for wheelchair assistance which I feel should have been waiting for her when she landed avoiding all delays.”

“The behaviour of some of security staff was appalling, one girl in particular shouting at customers and rude for no reason. If time had permitted I would have reported her to a supervisor, but the supervisor must also see her behaviour. This behaviour does nothing for the reputation of the country. Shopping good but not much else about the experience made me happy”
