“Flying out from Edinburgh airport was OK. Security like any other apart from the "3 minutes through security" which equated to a ten minute queue to reach the security part. Parking prices were absolutely disgusting. Flying back to the airport involved parking a long way from the terminal and a half hour wait for first steps, then a bus. A frequent user of the airport commented "This is normal". Not a good advert for the airport.”

“It was all a nightmare! Firstly I followed a friend down some stairs hoping to say goodbye to a friend who was going to Amsterdam...we had come from Orkney and were in transit... so we had to go through check in again and then despite sitting by the correct gate we failed to hear the call for the flight to Southampton and missed it... we then had to buy a new flight at an exhorbitant cost. Put me off Wdimburgh airport for life”

“I was one of the enlucky British Airways customers that had the flight cancelled on May 27th, and got no support from the company, neither from the airport staff. Unfortunatelly my experience could'nt have been worse!”

“It is convenient, facilities for human needs are available and the atmosphere is pleasant, the not so good are the airlines such as Aer Lingus, their check in counter clerks have no human compassion, they are like machine, the only words they utter are, next! over weigh! you pay over there and come back! and not only that, you luggage's are a day or two days behind Same applies with British air ways coming in and going out the luggage's are delayed, It was prostrating, reservations made a year ago to St. Andrews and miss your Tee times, very costly my friends Hope you can help us on this ongoing problem. Thank you, .”

“It was fine, just thought more security would have been in place. Just land in Japan and there was a cop every 20feet. I would have felt a lot better seeing more armed cops at entrances. Mabey a dog unite on patrol as Britain is on high terror alert.”

“Queued at passport control for over an hour on arrival. Only 3 people on duty to deal with multiple arrivals from different flights.”
