In my last 2 visits (11th March return from Insbruck skiing and 29th May return from Tenerife), the ground support for incoming flights was frankly awful. In March, we waited 50 mins for luggage to hit the carousel (and the private co. in charge of luggage were non-existent (at 10am) and in May, at the end of a 4hrs 35mins flight, we were held for 25 mins on a bus at midnight with no explanation (flight arrived 20 mins late). This customer experience is beyond bad. Thoroughly unpleasant experience

A really good airport but why is wifi only free for 2 hours?? And that's 2 hours across both Arrivals and Departures. Not great when you're working in the terminal waiting for a colleague to arrive and then next day in Departures you find you've used you whole free entitlement....

Security was a mess. There seemed to be little organisation as everyone was queuing from the security entrance. Getting to the front of the security line it appeared it was understaffed as there was no organisation directing people. In whole it seemed there was too little staff and too many people.

Easy well placed signs to show where to go. Disabled parking is a joke, half the spaces taken by taxis and then having to trail from one building to another to get your parking ticket validated, not fun when you have mobility problems and are using a walking stick to help get abo. Need to review the service by having office in a better location.

Service after landing was atrocious. Landed at 00:02am and eventually got our cases after very little communication at 01:18am. We travel a lot from Edinburgh and have found it to be the worst airport we have ever been in. Always delays in some department, and always excuses as to why the delays are happening.

Quite convenient airport with good transport connection to the city. The staff is professional. The price level of the services (restaurants) is quite high. The staff handled the crisis situation with BA professionally. Thanks for that.

There are many shops to waste some time in departures area, everything is well labeled so I had no trouble finding my gate, and airport staff is generally nice and helpful.

Why bother having numerous checking stations if you don't bother to staff them. 2 hours waiting to go through customs is the longest I've ever had to endure.

The Skylink 200 bus is a great service and I was assisted in finding where to catch it by a helpful Edinburgh Airport employee. The bus driver was most helpful also. I wasn't able to access the free airport wifi while waiting for my luggage, which was disappointing.

Well, I don't know how you know I was at the Edinburgh Airport last week, considering I didn't get any flight and I just been there to say goodbye to my friends who came to visit me. However, the experience was great because we drive straight to the airport after being partying all night, and I walked my lovely friends to the check-in area singing and dancing Spice Up Your Life from the Spice Girls, and it was just wonderful. So if you ask how was my experience at the airport i would say just great! Thank you for let me tell you this small story within a big story :) Remember: Spice Up Your Life! Lukasz

Access to the airport is poor, only one road in, single file traffic to get to the drop off point. Check-in conveyor belt not working, so had to check in then move to another area for actual bag drop. Security takes a lot longer than it used to. Flight delayed 45 minutes then had to take a magical mystery tour on a bus to get to the plane. All in all the worst experience at EDI that I've had.
