“Was super tired after an 8+ hour flight travelling with a toddler.There were stairs to get to immigration this was difficult as I had a hand luggage as well. It was quite hard trying to control both my kid and negotiate the flight of stairs with the luggage”

“Unfortunately there was some problem with my connecting flight with Etihad & Aer Lingus & I had to wait around the airport for approximately 8 hours while (Paul I believe) who is the manager for Etihad airways at Edinburgh airport worked extremely hard to find me alternative flights home to Dublin via London Heathrow & supplied my family & I with meal vouchers for the pub/restaurant upstairs & we enjoyed the food tremendously I must say!! Friendly atmosphere and staff & relaxing airport despite our extremely long stopover , but wouldn't deter me from flying through Edinburgh in the future.”

“The layout of the airport is good the reason I didn't give the five stars its because of the control to the duty free and boarding it was a bit of caos”

“Bag drop was quick, security was quiet and therefor quick, prices are a bit high at the food outlets but that's the same at all airports. Please provide a water fountain for filling up empty water bottles. I consider your parking charges are outrageously high even for collecting someone.”

“The signposts for check in were not clear. Checking through the hand luggage was nothing short of chaos. Too many people trying to get access at the same time.”

“1. congestion on approach road is unacceptable. 2. security queues are unacceptably long. Especially when not all lanes are open or not all the 'offload points' in each lane are open. 3. quantity/quality of toilets is poor.”
