“Helpful staff, security was smooth experience. The self-check-in computers were a bit slow, and wouldn't read my passport, and others seemed to be having trouble with them as well.”

“Great access through bus and tram. I was impressed by the automated check in of luggage. And I disliked the extra mile one had to walk in order to pass along shopping on the way to the gates.”

“The interior of the airport is good. The US278 flight on Saturday morning took 1 hour 12 minutes before passengers got through baggage reclaim and immigration. That is too long. Baggage belt 6 is used too frequently and often there are 2 or 3 flights all waiting there at the same time. The belt is not long enough. People are hurting themselves reaching for (heavy) bags through other people that are often 3 or 4 deep at the belt. The belt needs to be made longer or belts 4 and 5 used more frequently. This may be a customs issue, but in that case belt 5 and 6 should be merged into one large belt that is all customs controlled.”

“If one travels by Easyjet this is not such a happy experience as one has to walk a lot to get to and from plane. As a woman of 73 I am not so fast by foot. I also would like at least a smile from the people in customs . One young woman there on 3 rd June as I was traveling to Bristol around midday, was absolutely horrible to a young girl who was afraid of the body scranner but the woman who frisked her sternly told her to get back and have the whole scan. The child's mother was also stressed as I was. This is unacceptable behavior.”

“Every thing was just fine-except when I went to scan my boarding pass , for some reason it would not accept, and there was NO ONE to help, I had to join the queue with the people with push chairs and wheelchairs. Would be a good idea if a member of staff was there to help people in my position. Thanks”

“Takeaway sandwiches and confectionery happily not overpriced! Sadly, there didn't seem to be any fresh water drinking fountains! Overall layout of shopping and dining areas very good! Waiting too long for bus to plane; and required to queue too early. Couldn't we have just remained seated whilst enduring the delay?! Departure area not hot and airless, as is often the case in other airports!”

“Clean, well signed and pleasant staff although these were specific airline employees. Could not find a "general" enquiry desk. In the unhappy section - no airbridge and only wobbly steps to my QR flight. An elderly couple who needed assistance were told to get out of their wheelchairs at the bottom of the steep steps. It was very difficult for them to climb up to the door where there was quite a gap to enter the aircraft. The steps did not appear to be attached to the aircraft. Perhaps this is not the airport but the airlines fault!”
