I parked my car at LowCostParking, and waited 45 minutes for the car park bus, due to this frustrating time I unfortunately missed my 16.20pm flight to Belfast International on Friday 2nd June. I then had to wait 4 hours for the next available flight to Belfast and spend £135.26. I was very disappointed in this car park as I have travelled numerous times out of Glasgow airport and never had any bother with the range of car parks connected with Glasgow. This however was my first time flying from Edinburgh and I was very upset and angry that I missed my flight due to only 1 bus running and a 45 minute wait. Within the confirmation email from the car park it stated there would be a bus running every 20 minutes with a 6 minute travel time. £135.26 spent because the car park didn't fulfil their 20 minute promise. Very disappointed and upset with the experience and wish to express my concerns to the car park themselves.

Very smooth transitions from check in thru security thru boarding. No problems.

Relative easy of checking in and boarding. However, after passing into security with a luggage trolley, I was subsequently told that I was not permitted to enter that area with said trolley. This should have been spotted by the person manning the entrance to security and resulted in a difficult return journey with the trolley through a queue of people.

Edinburgh Airport does not make me happy - why (1) the security people have no manners (2) the walk from security to the gates is too long for older people not interested in buying duty free (3) when we eventually reach the main area it has far too many empty shops & cafes taking up seating space & making people push past one another in the limited space! (5) on returning to a edinburgh airport I have often been bussed to immigration & held on a bus for a long time as too many planes arrive at the same time & the immigration hall isn't big enough

The good: Usually efficient security screening and decent lounges while waiting for the flight. The bad: Force all customers to do extra walking through duty free before can get from security to the gates. The walk is just a U-turn through the shop, especially annoying when running late and need to get to the gate quickly. Many near accidents with people running with big pieces of luggage and potentially knocking over expensive bottles of perfumes and alcohol. The ugly: Very few airlines use the jet bridges for whatever reason, especially BA and other discount airlines. So be prepared to get your workout and climb up and downstairs with all your luggage in usually inclimate weather to get on and off your flight. Even the largest BA 767 will have everyone climbing stairs. It's what you see in 3rd world countries, but surprise that this is often the case in Edinburgh where there are plenty of jet bridges available?!?!

Clean environment, easy access, selection of food outlets. However, very poor customer service points, in particular once you have entered departures. Find it very difficult to understand how there is NOT a single area designated for customer service. My flight was heavily delayed and I was unable to find anyone to ask for advice or relevant information. It also highlighted if a customer felt unwell or experienced a problem what would they do??

Helpful staff, security was smooth experience. The self-check-in computers were a bit slow, and wouldn't read my passport, and others seemed to be having trouble with them as well.

Had a fairly seamless trip through the airport. Jet2's check in was especially good.

I did not realise Edinburgh was quite a large airport, but I found it well laid out with all the usual amenities so overall it was good

Great access through bus and tram. I was impressed by the automated check in of luggage. And I disliked the extra mile one had to walk in order to pass along shopping on the way to the gates.

Friendly staff, very fast security check (the most fasten i've seen so far), good shopping facilities and ok-ish toilet facilities. Over all a good experience.

The interior of the airport is good. The US278 flight on Saturday morning took 1 hour 12 minutes before passengers got through baggage reclaim and immigration. That is too long. Baggage belt 6 is used too frequently and often there are 2 or 3 flights all waiting there at the same time. The belt is not long enough. People are hurting themselves reaching for (heavy) bags through other people that are often 3 or 4 deep at the belt. The belt needs to be made longer or belts 4 and 5 used more frequently. This may be a customs issue, but in that case belt 5 and 6 should be merged into one large belt that is all customs controlled.

Very nice and has good services, however for delayed flights the wifi in the airport shouldn't cost anything, should be free
