“Check in uneventful. Quick and friendly, well organised, trip through security. Seating available while for waiting the flight. No complaints.”

“Very efficient getting bags checked and boarding passes. Staff were exceptionally friendly. The only hiccup might have been going through security, as it seemed a bit crazy, and if you were at the very beginning of the line where you place bags for scanning, it was difficult to get a bucket to deposit your articles in. Overall, great airport”

“The staff was very friendly at all times and made me feel welcome and appreciated as a tourist. Free WiFi was great and the ease to go through security and passport check was excellent and very much appreciated. Transportation to the city by bus was also very easy and convenient. Great job!”

“I thourghly enjoyed Edinburgh Airport, it was clean and the variety of shops were really enjoyable to browse in, our lunch in Yo Sushi was delicious.”

“The Flybe customer service girl that printed my ticket out on Friday 9th June was lovely, so very kind and helpful when I missed my flight and was very upset, it was my not Flybe or the Airport at fault, an accident on the motorway held me up, but this lady was absolutely lovely I wish I had got her name, only reason I did not give maximum rating is I find there to be a lack of seating downstairs, but I always choose Edinburgh to fly from as I find the staff helpful and friendly, but this lady was exceptionally nice and concerned as I was in tears, I hope you can find out who she was and thank her for me, I was due to get the 1.30 Flybe to Belfast City but managed to get on the 4.05 flight with her help”

“Edinburgh Airport is a nice airport to wait at due to the bright departure lounges with lots of natural light where you can look out and see what's happening. There are plenty of amenities and lots os shops if that is what you want. Mostly I just like to sit and read and watch the aircraft activity on the aprons and the runway and there is always places to go at Edinburgh where you can easily do this. I travel frequently from other Scottish and UK airports and Edinburgh provides one of the best customer experiences.”

“Very rude man in security, case pulled over, very abruptly said tablet should be flat in tray when I asked where it informed passenger of this stated notices all around but should have check online. He then took my case away without explanation and I was left standing. After several minutes he shouted from a distance to go round other side an stuck up "V's" which I took to mean 2 trays. Communication s the key to good customer service, obviously this man lacked these skills”

“Quick and easy bag drop and security. Drinks and food rather expensive while we waited. On our return though - large queue for passport control and very long wait for bags! (45 mins)”
