“Been thro 3 times in last 6 months. Twice arriving once departing. 1/ Suitcases take ages to collect. 2/ persons meeting passengers confused re which terminal to wait at. They couldn't find info, talking to other people they had the same problem. 3/ signage to short-stay carpark poor. Drove round loop 3 times when catching flight without success so they had to leave me at drop off Zone, resulting in upset parents as I live in Australia and they don't see me often. Plan was to have coffee n say goodbyes. Overall it's the most unwelcoming international airport I've been through and if it wasn't for the excellent Qatar scheduled flights I wouldn't use it.”

“I found the security hall and overall efficiency great, but the quality of wifi was shocking! Firstly my MacBook had huge issues connecting and was incredibly slow. Furthermore, the fact that you must join the mailing list to use the wifi is in my opinion highly unethical and underhand - if my phone had not died I would have avoided it completely.”

“The phone signal for Vodafone in the terminal is terrible, especially in the area of seating near wetherspoons. Unable to work as could not make calls. The whole place was like a shit overcrowded shopping centre. How about some areas for people who don't want to spend any more money? Generic, thoughtless, and crass.... It doesn't really say Welcome to Edinburgh.”

“The wifi service is terrible and the entire process of going through security is painfull. The system is so out of date but I work in Edinburgh so have no choice but to travel through the airport. I have travelled to Glasgow airport every week for 18 months and am now going to go back to glasgow and drive to Edinburgh. i Am from New Zealand and have travelled extensively around the world and Edinburgh is bottom of the list. Wifi is below poor in this day and age Security is nothing less than shambolic I have told my visiting family to fly to Glasgow and i will pick them up”

“Security check was quick and efficient . Most of the departure lounges are spacious although Gate 1E and 1? at the far end of the terminal were quite congested with 2+ international flights departing at the same time. Shops are good on the whole, apart from WHSmith and that ghastly self service check out which seems more trouble than it is worth.”

“Using the special assistance service l found the staff very helpful. They endeavour to make my journey through the airport and on to plane as pleasant as possible.I deducted a star because l dont like that office outside terminal”

“Check in for our flight was smooth. The airport food and shops were nice. Once it came time to board, the gate was very cramped. Did not like being bussed out to the plane.”

“It made me very stressed. I am disabled and did not feel looked after during the security procedure. Your staff need more training, on how to treat people, we are NOT all threats!”

“Good signage, good flow, nice shops, good food situation and plenty of seating if you are hanging for awhile. good PA system.......the only thing that needs to be improved is to make it clearer as to where the transport/wheelchairs are!!! That makes a BIG difference when you have someone who can't walk!”
